Vankuver: А кто-нибудь может рассказать что там происходило? Я урывками на ФБ читаю, но толком не понимаю! Как я понимаю ветеринар перед Бестами забраковал по здоровью несколько собак или я не так поняла?
тата : Действительно,очень хотелось бы узнать как прошла выставка,что запомнилось особенно,что нового было в этом году,свои впечатления....фотографии,конечно! Заранее спасибо!!!

Vankuver: Bulldog and Pekingese fail Crufts vet checks No dog representing the Pekingese and Bulldog breeds will compete in Thursday evening’s Best in Group competitions at Crufts after they failed the new veterinary checks that have been introduced to the show. The Best of Breed award was not given to Pekingese, Palacegarden Bianca, or Bulldog, Mellowmood One In A Million, following their veterinary checks, which were carried out by an independent veterinary surgeon. This means that the dogs will not be allowed to continue into the Toy or Utility Best in Group competitions respectively." This is a quote from Crufts' own website. What it doesn't say is that these two dogs apparently were only "failed" when the Kennel Club went completely against its own agreed policy of examination and vets using opthalmscopes detected what they considered irrelugarities in the eyes of the two BOB winners, obviously alleged problems that no judge could be expected to notice with the naked eye. No mention of breathing problems or unsoundness, just over-zealous vets determined to give those who would see dog shows banned yet more ammunition. If the Kennel Club's aim is to destroy these breeds, they are going the right way about it. Today was dogdom's darkest day and the day the Kennel Club signed the death warrant of dog shows.
Vankuver: So, news from Crufts tells me that now also the mastiff BOB is disqualified and will not enter the groups. Thursday the pekingese and the bulldog were diqualifid, yesterday the clumber spaniel and today, the mastiff. According to what I've been told, the pekingese has today a totally clean record from another vet, and when it comes to the clumber spaniel, it's been judged and highly awarded by judges I have enormous respect for. What is the point of judging dogshows if my decision can be overruled by a vet that doesn't necessarily know anything about that particular dog breed? The catastrophy the Kennelclub has now started in UK, can easily spread to other countries if we don't watch it. And don't you think it's nothing you have to bother about because it doesn't concern your breed. Believe me, if we don't stop it it WILL spread to other countries and more breeds! NO DOGJUDGE that I know of would deliberately put up undound dogs. We all want our dogs to be healthy AND beautiful. And I say we can do this in some co-operation with skilful vets, but no more than you can put me in a vet's surgeon and do his/her job, can you put a vet in my place and judge dogshows. Where are the voices of our fellow judges who actually are vets? Usually excellent judges AND vets, maybe they listen to you, if you said that the way this is happening now is wrong and must stop!
Irina Yakovleva: не знаю по поводу глаз-эксперт это никак не может увидеть,кроме век у чау и шарпеев.Но веки-это не глаза,если ты именно про глаза
